Windows-native agent & tray
Rust local agent with branded tray icon, Operator interface, local status and device management. Branded icon and Explorer restart recovery were verified on v0.77.3.
Status recorded: 30 October 2026
DirectSpool connects authorized browsers and business software to local printers and peripheral devices. This catalogue distinguishes implemented software from verified tests and future plans. The current Windows agent is a pre-release QA candidate, not a commercially certified installer .
Rust local agent with branded tray icon, Operator interface, local status and device management. Branded icon and Explorer restart recovery were verified on v0.77.3.
Loopback endpoints, local command transport, status, job enquiry and bidirectional transport paths. Public-internet access is not the design.
Origin approval, pairing request/claim, bearer-token commands and trusted-origin controls. Least-privilege capability enforcement is still under security review.
Raw receipt command support and a prior physical 58 mm thermal test on a ZY302 printer. Not a blanket certification of printers, widths, cutter support or drivers.
Registered Windows spooler queues and configured direct TCP/IP raw printer endpoints. Printer-specific network and physical acceptance remains incomplete.
Submit printer-native label language payloads to configured devices. This does not include a certified template designer or universal label-printer compatibility.
Core local printing is designed to work without continuous internet or a paid Business Cloud subscription.
Read-only printer health, job listing and status APIs. OS spool acceptance does not prove that paper was printed.
Authorized serial reading, scale-reading foundations, cash-drawer output and additional device integration paths. Hardware-specific certification remains pending.
Candidate v0.77.3-rc.1 SDK, browser pairing APIs, command and device helpers. Linux and Windows CI passed; repository is private and npm release is not authorized.
Chromium and Firefox integration components exist. Store publication and full security/compatibility review are separate milestones.
Avoid automatically replaying uncertain jobs. A submitted job is not declared physically completed without reliable device-specific evidence.
Selected physical printing, Rust/SDK QA, Windows Sandbox installation/upgrade, Chrome/Edge HTTPS pairing and Edge blocked-permission behavior have evidence. See the verified test results for exact scope, dates, and limitations.
USB/HID, LAN/mDNS, IPP/IPPS, profiles, stable printer health events and network printer security checks.
PDF, HTML, Office and barcode/label packs; durable job queues, idempotency, print release, policies and safe reconnect handling.
Tenant-isolated organizations, sites, agents, fleet dashboards, remote routing, subscriptions, managed updates and audit trails.
Native macOS and Linux agents, ARM/gateway deployments, Android printer-agent exploration and Android/iOS fleet-management apps; iOS client work remains future scope.
A source directory, API operation or demonstration is not proof of compatibility with all devices or operating systems. Availability, pricing and commercial terms will be announced only after their respective release gates.
