Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms apply to the informational directspool.com website and any pre-release resources made available through it. Paid DirectSpool Business Cloud services are not currently sold through this website. Specific products and open-source components may have separate licenses or agreements that take precedence for those components.
1. Who operates this website
DirectSpool is a software project of TouchBills Technologies (referred to here as “DirectSpool”, “we”, or “us”). For enquiries, visit our Contact page.
2. Status of products and documentation
The Community agent and developer integration tools may be labeled pre-release, test-only, demonstration, planned or under development. Availability and supported operating systems depend on the specific release. Screenshots, sample device data, roadmap dates and conceptual examples are illustrative unless explicitly identified as production-verified. Do not install test-only builds on production machines.
3. Acceptable website use
Use this website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access to this site or other users' systems, interfere with service availability, distribute malware through the website, or misrepresent an affiliation with DirectSpool. Integrations with local printers or peripherals must be authorized by the device owner/operator.
4. Software licenses and open-source components
Accessing the website does not grant ownership of DirectSpool trademarks, proprietary Rust agent code, paid modules or Business Cloud systems. Open-source SDKs and other published projects are governed by the license included with their respective releases. Nothing on this page removes permissions expressly granted by an applicable open-source license.
5. Local permissions and hardware operations
Users and developers are responsible for approving trusted website origins, device identities, command capabilities and printer configuration. A job accepted by software or a print spooler does not necessarily confirm physical output; carefully verify outcomes before retrying a potentially duplicate print job. Do not send sensitive content to devices without appropriate authorization.
6. Payments, sponsorships and planned services
No purchase or subscription is initiated through this informational website. GitHub Sponsors contributions are voluntary and subject to GitHub's own terms. If we launch paid services, the applicable offer, subscription agreement, pricing, taxes, cancellation and refund terms will be disclosed before purchase. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Availability and warranties
The site and pre-release resources are provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep information accurate and services secure, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted website availability, compatibility with every device, or suitability for a specific commercial workflow. Any warranty exclusion applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and any express product agreement.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DirectSpool is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from reliance on roadmap statements, demonstrational content or unverified pre-release use. This does not exclude liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Privacy and third-party links
See our Privacy principles page for the current pre-release privacy approach. Third-party sites such as GitHub Sponsors and external developer resources have their own terms and privacy practices. A formal service-specific privacy notice will be published before collecting personal data for live accounts, analytics, billing or cloud services.
10. Changes and applicable law
We may update these website terms as products evolve, with a revised date posted here. The terms are intended to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, except where applicable mandatory local law requires otherwise. Any dispute forum will be subject to applicable law and any separate agreement.
